- In 2012, all ASA Members received a poster covering some of the anatomy of the elbow. To accompany this poster, the ASA's SIG MSK Committee have put together this article covering the anatomy of the elbow along with a suggested scanning protocol and some of the common pathologies of the elbow that the sonographer may encounter. For each athology a description is given, along with the common causes of the pathology and the appearance on ultrasound.
